“The Helping Hands”

The idea of helping others is part of a meaningful life has been around for thousands of years. Aristotle wrote that finding happiness and fulfillment is achieved “by loving rather than in being loved.”

We cannot prevent disasters. No matter how well we manage our environment, bush fires, droughts and floods will always be with us. Sometimes stopping outbreaks of violence is also beyond our control. What we can do, however, is help to reduce the impact of natural and man-made disasters and alleviate the suffering they cause.

Last August 22, 2019, KASAPI Lending and Microfinance initiated a Relief Operation at Pangasinan Area. KASAPI gave grocery packages to 454 clients, the company aims to help the people of its community. The aid program is dedicated to assist vulnerable communities to prepare for disasters and to avoid some of their debilitating long-term impacts.

Giving back is as good for you as it is for those you are helping, because giving gives you purpose. When you have a purpose-driven life, you’re happier person – Goldie Haw.

Giving service to others should be sincere and done from the heart, only then it is fruitful. Our passion should be the foundation for our giving. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving. It’s only natural that we will care about this and not so much about that, and that’s OK. It should not be simply matter of choosing the right thing, but also a matter of choosing what is right for us.

KASAPI still continue to serve, to communicate, to be the instrument of change and continue to uplift the lives of greater Filipinos masses.
